Beware of Scams and Phishing Attempts

It’s increasingly common for people to be approached by phone, email, or social media by someone pretending to act on behalf of a reputable company in order to steal personal or financial information. Because of this, Energi Talent advises job seekers to stay alert to possible phishing attempts and to be careful when providing personal details to anyone they do not know.

Energi Talent takes steps to reduce the risk of fraudsters pretending to act on our behalf, but we do not have the power to independently take down the channels they use—such as websites, email addresses, or social media profiles. If you come across activity that appears to be a phishing attempt, we recommend reporting it directly to the administrators of the platform involved.

How to Spot Recruitment Scams

At Energi Talent, we may ask for information about your work experience when you apply for a role. However, we will never request highly sensitive details—such as your bank account or tax information—before you have officially received and accepted a job offer. If a recruiter contacts you unexpectedly, they should focus on your skills, career goals, and professional background, not your financial details.

Warning Signs to Watch Out For :

  • Requests for payment: You will never be asked to pay any fees to apply for a position at Energi Talent.
  • Pressure tactics: Be cautious if someone is rushing you to share information, discouraging you from taking time to think, or pushing for an immediate response.
  • Unprofessional communication: Poor grammar, spelling mistakes, or low-quality visuals may be a signal that the message is not legitimate.

How to Verify Communication

Always check the contact details carefully before responding:

  • Email: Official emails from Energi Talent will always come from an @energitalent.com address. If the email ends in @gmail.com, @outlook.com, @yahoo.com, or similar, it is not authentic.
  • Website: Genuine Energi Talent websites are hosted on the energitalent.com domain. If you are redirected to another domain or a site that looks suspicious, leave immediately and search for “Energi Talent” directly in Google.
  • Phone number: Ask for the landline number of the office the recruiter claims to represent. You can then search “Energi Talent” + the city name in Google to confirm whether the number matches an official office listing.

Staying alert to these signs can help protect your personal and financial information.
