Title: Chief Operations Officer
Reports to: MD/CEO
Chief Operations Officer, oversees all aspect of company business functions such as Projects Operations, Business Dev. Human Resource, Finance, etc.
Maintains control of diverse business operations to secure the functionality of business for extensive and sustainable growth.
Manages overall organization’s ongoing projects, organizational operations and procedures.The company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.
Collaborate with the CEO/MD in setting and driving organizational vision and operational strategy
Evaluates operational issues to determine how competitive and current our client is.
Formulate business strategy with other executive team members.
Oversee all aspect of company project from start to delivery stage
Oversee project Technical, and Commercial activities.
Develop and implement project management procedures and methodologies to achieve business goals.
Develop project budget in consideration with cost optimization and reduction to help the organization improve cost reduction and benefits
Interface with regulatory bodies as regards project execution
Interface with all stakeholders
Design policies that align with overall project strategy
Work with project managers to Identify & mitigate project risks and ensure adequate monitoring during execution.
Track, monitor and control expense based on budgetary guidelines
Manage and lead scope changes for project.
Manage resource assignment, work allocation for projects
Ensure that Project Managers provide project progress status to client in timely manner.
Ensure that project deliverables meet expectations.
Provide to the Board Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
Proven experience as Head of Operations, Operations Director or similar leadership role
Understanding of business functions such as Projects Operations, Business Dev. HR, Finance, etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Working knowledge of Project Management
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
Bachelors of Engineering
MSc/MBA is a plus
Over 15 years of Experience of which 8 is in a Senior Management role
