Field Engineer – Nuclear
The Field Engineer will be deemed an expert in his/her field and will be part of a team of Field Engineers and Engineers to take responsibility for activities in the field relating to Construction Surveillance. The primary roles of this team is to deliver on the Supervisor duties and ensure that project quality needs, targets and aspirations are realised.
The Field Engineer is responsible for the “Delivery” of quality compliance within the designated section of the works. The responsibility extends to all construction and surveillance related activities including logistics planning and implementation in collaboration with the site wide logistics team, Health and Safety, surveillance.
• Check the works are constructed in accordance with the contract and notifying the Construction Superintendent of defects before completion.
• Liaise with Construction Superintendent to advise of any issues that come to light that should be addressed contractually such as issuing required notices, matters relating to quality, information required and delays.
